GRACE DOWNARD, a 4th grade student in Mrs. Adams' class, has advanced to the State Competition with her REFLECTIONS entry!
Our two North Metro entrants, TJ RAGAN and MYLES HOWARD were winners and are advancing to the State Competition!

We greatly appreciate the many parents and teachers who have already joined PTA, signed up to Volunteer, bought Spirit Wear, supported Fundraisers, made Donations or have helped in any way! Thank you to Mr. Forti and Ms. Toomer... they are true partners with our PTA... they are supportive, helpful, encouraging and we appreciate them so much! If you have not joined the Sweet Apple PTA... it's not too late! Forms are available on our MEMBERSHIP page. You can fill out the form and send it, along with your check made out to SAE PTA, to your child's teacher or the front desk. They will make sure it gets to the PTA Membership box in the mailroom. Forms are also available in the school at the front desk. Your support is vital to the success of our organization and school!
Along with the money raised from PTA Membership, our fundraisers last year, (including the Giving Tree, Carnival, Silent Auction, Bingo Night and Boosterthon) we were able to fund many education or support items/events for the school! We plan to fund similar items/events this school year and help our students in as many ways as possible! If you would like to donate funds directly to the Sweet Apple PTA, you may do so through our GIVING TREE CAMPAIGN... :-)

We are so proud to have joined forces with Mr. Forti to fund the ActivBoard initiative. Sweet Apple now has an ActivBoard in every classroom, 1st-5th grade! No other elementary school in Fulton County comes close to that level of coverage. It is a testament to the dedication of the Sweet Apple parents and community to be able to provide this level of support for the educational experience of our students.
This year the SAE PTA is continuing to promote our school's health and wellness initiative. We truly believe that our children will benefit by attending a health conscious school and hope you will support and participate in our Healthy Happy Kids program. The VOLUNTEERS at Sweet Apple are AWESOME and they keep our PTA and our school going strong! Volunteer hours will be more important this year due to education budget cuts.
